Piro speaks:
you know, i KNOW there are problems there, from a topology standpoint.
From the beginning, tsubasa has told me that i kept spelling 'Kichijoji' wrong, and I
havent fixed it yet.
I *do* have this all mapped out, with the help of Tsubasa-san. If there are errors
in understanding the details, its because of my presentation, and I appologize for
the errors.
it isn't a 3000 yen Orange card - it's a Pass-net card (i have a url for it
somewhere here...)
at any rate, if you look at the card (i know its hard to see) its says
'Keio' in the lower right corner of the card. Too bad the resolution on
these comics are so bad - you cant see half the details i draw.

Now, why Piro would waste money on a Keio line card as opposed to a
JR line... well, details ^^;;

(the boo boo that makes you think that its a JR line is probably this
comic:

obviously, its not a JR line. Yet another error i need to fix. We were
working on the topology right around the time we made this comic.
Thank you for reminding me of the errors. I really REALLY gotta go back
and fix some of them...
...and he did fix them.
Go to the bottom of Piro's rant to find out about the girl in the background. The comic
he refers to is a broken link but can be seen here.
Asmodeus speaks:
Also Fred decided to do web comic because of a Japanese webcomic called
"Iceshop Nashiyume", which is a Kanon web comic. (Sad that the
creator shut down the site.) There is a strip where Fred did a cross
over with Iceshop Nashiyume.
Piro speaks:
that scene is hommage to a japanese web comic called Iceshop
Nashayume, which closed down about a year ago and has now
completely vanished. It was a Kanon parody comic where the
girls were constanly trying to kill each other.
A little history - the strip in particular (i have a print-out, but
not sure if i still have the file somewhere) Makoto is holding Piro
(a little siamese cat from the game) while overlooking the road
below. In the comic, she is distracted by Ayu (the one with the
fish pastry - its a 'taiyaki') turns, and goes to attack her (thats
what you see in the final panel of my comic). In the original, she
drops Piro, who gets hit by a bus or truck or something and is
splattered all over the side of the bridge :) Its the same bridge
that Piro is looking over in the comic.
This is the comic that tickled my sense of humor in a way that
made me select 'Piro' as a nickname for a while (which thanks
to Megatokyo is now linked to me irriversably)
Iceshop Nashayume was the comic that showed me that a
comic COULD have cute characters and have some bite to it.
